According to retailers Christmas is peak shoplifting season, claiming that nothing is off limits for sticky-fingered shoplifters.
A CCTV footage shows a man casually stopping in front of a brand new television, and within seconds, he has dismantled the TV and popped it into a perfectly sized carry case.
Mark Gentle from security company Checkpoint says stolen products usually end up on websites such as Gumtree and Ebay.
Mr Gentle says even children are being used as decoys in some shoplifting cases.
